The power list

This list isn't complete - not by a longshot - but more a collection of findings. I prefer to only include figures that have actually been measured by someone, as the whole point of this enterprise is to list the actual current draw of pedals. Manufacturer's stated figures are of course useful when actual readings isn't available, and they are clearly marked as such in the list. But I'd rather replace those figures with "real" ones, of course...

The list is updated as new measurements come in, so check back if your pedal isn't listed. Or post a request in the effects forum at Harmony Central. Or better yet, measure it yourself and mail me the result, and I'll post it here. Please don't mail me with requests - if I don't have it in the list, it is simply because I don't have it.

Current draw figures are normally posted in one of two formats:

  • X / X mA - bypass / active mode (measured figures)
  • X mA - measured or stated (presumably in active mode)

Voltage is assumed to be 9vDC, except where specified. I've recently started simplifying the list a littie, posting only bypass/active figures when there are significant differences. The normal format will therefore be just a single mA figure, which makes the list a little easier to read.

Also, I'd like to thank everyone who contributes to this list - without you it would be much thinner.. Thanks!
